let us go on unto perfection ( Hebrews 6 : 1-5

The journey of the Israelites from Egypt (Gossen) to the land of Canaan is an example of the journey of faith. That is, from Egypt through the wilderness of the world to heavenly Canaan (New World and New Jerusalem, Revelation 22). In 1 Corinthians 10:1-11 Paul conveys that the journey of the Israelites is an example that most of God's people did not reach Canaan because they were involved in sin. There are 4 things they did, namely: tempting God fornication worshiping idols grumbling. This is a warning to be careful in this end time, so that our faith does not fail like the Israelites. Image of the Tabernacle of Moses The Tabernacle of Moses is a real picture as the house of God and becomes a pattern of spiritual development that is paralleled with the preaching of the apostle Peter which is formed in the Seven Levels of Faith. The church builds its body as the house of God (1 Corinthians 3:16, 6:19). Starting from the first level of hearing the Word to the seventh level of becoming the Chosen Church or the Bride of Christ. Building faith based on the Seven Levels of Faith and the Tabernacle will clearly show where we have reached in our faith development, allowing us to continue building our faith until it is perfect. God directly instructed Moses to build the Tabernacle, with all its equipment and dimensions. Moses' Tabernacle was a picture of the Tabernacle of Heaven (Hebrews 8:5-6). "You have made all these things according to the pattern which was shown you on the mountain”. If it is called an example, it means that there is already material to be an example. The Apostle John when on the island of Patmos in Revelation 4, saw the arrangement of the Tent of Heaven or the True Tent made by the hands of God (Hebrews 8:1-5) and Jesus Christ became the High Priest (Hebrews 7:25-28). The Tabernacle comes from two words, namely Ohel and Mishkan (Hebrew Ohel - tent or tent, and Mishkan means dwelling place. The Tabernacle is the house where God lives. Believers are the dwelling place of God (1 Corinthians 3:16, 1 Corinthians 6:19). God dwells both in a group of congregations and also dwells in individual believers. The Lord Jesus heads His house, namely believers (Hebrews 3:6). Therefore, the Church must give itself to be built in its spiritual life to become His house. The spiritualized Tabernacle of Moses is an example of spiritual development. TABERNACLE IN SPIRITUAL SENSE The Covenant Box ——— Refers to the Perfection of the Church which is covered with pure gold inside and out, becoming a Bride, namely a holy and pure Church without blemish. The Curtain Door ——- Refers to the tearing of the flesh or the crucifixion of the flesh. The Covering of the Tabernacle —— Refers to God's protection of His church shown you on the mountain”. If it is called an example, it means that there is already material to be an example. The Covering of the Tabernacle —— Refers to God's protection of His church us, so that we can hold fast to hope through perseverance and comfort from the holy scriptures. What was written before, all this is only a shadow of what must come and whose form is Christ, Colossians 2:17. The Apostle Peter was the apostle who was entrusted by God to establish the church on the rock and the keys to the kingdom of heaven, Matthew 16:1819. Peter (petra) – the small rock and rock is the big and steadfast rock that is Jesus Christ. It is on this rock that the body of Christ is built, that is, it is built with firm truth as a strong foundation (I Corinthians 3:11) through the teachings of apostles and prophets, but the cornerstone is Christ (Ephesians 2:20-22). The cornerstone is the stone that is the straight measure that is placed to be used as a measure and when aligned with other stones it will appear straight or crooked. Thus, the true truth is Christ, namely the Word, and if there is another truth, it will be aligned with the truth of Christ as the cornerstone, then the straightness of that truth will appear. And if it is not aligned with the cornerstone, it means it is not the truth of the Word but the truth of men. After Peter was filled with the Holy Spirit, he preached in Jerusalem unlocking the keys to the kingdom of Heaven, building the body of Christ on the rock of true truth. Peter's sermon builds the body of Christ using three methods and is organized into 7 Levels of Faith (Acts 2:14-40), namely: Peter preaches convincingly to the people about Jesus Christ and they believe. The first level of faith: hearing the word and believing in the Lord Jesus Christ. When Peter preached their hearts were moved, pointing to regret and repentance, namely the second level of faith. Acts 2:37. After Peter finished preaching they asked what they should do, Peter said, repent and enter the third level of faith. Acts 2:38, a. Peter said that each of you should be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Acts 2:38,b. The fourth level of faith. And Peter said, "You will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, which is baptism." The Holy Spirit and the filling of the Holy Spirit. The fifth level of faith. Receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit, including the 9 Gifts of the Holy Spirit, the 9 Ministries of the Holy Spirit, and the 9 fruits of the Holy Spirit, is the sixth level of faith. So, being built into the chosen church, becoming the bride of Christ, is the seventh level of faith. The spiritualized tabernacle is the construction of the body of Christ, namely, your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19), namely: The gate is the door of Jesus Christ, connected with the first level of faith, building faith by listening to the Word and building strong faith through the Word. The altar of burnt offering is connected with the second and third levels of faith, namely building faith with true repentance and bringing forth the fruit of repentance. The washing pool is connected with the fourth level of faith, namely building spirituality by being born again, namely being baptized with water. The door of the tabernacle is the door of the Holy Spirit, connected with the fifth level, namely being baptized with the Holy Spirit and being filled with the Holy Spirit. Three tools in the holy place, the golden lamp, the table of showbread, and the altar of incense. are connected to the sixth level of faith, namely the gift of the Holy Spirit, the ministry, and the fruit of the Holy Spirit. The curtain door, namely the door of the Father, refers to the crucifixion of the flesh as the entrance to the most holy place to become the bride of Christ who is perfected in spirit, soul, and body. The curtain door and the ark of the covenant are connected to the tabernacle, which is in the position of the seventh level of faith, namely perfection and becoming the bride of Christ. The Apostle Paul succeeded in building the body of Christ until he was betrothed to Christ, II Corinthians 11:2. For I am jealous for you with a divine jealousy. I have betrothed you to one husband to present you as a pure virgin to Christ. So it is the responsibility of His servants to present the church as the bride of Christ. HEBREWS 6:1-2 Therefore, let us leave the elementary principles of the doctrine about Christ and go on to its full development. Let us not lay down again the foundation of repentance from dead works and faith in God, namely the doctrine of baptism, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal punishment. In Hebrews 6:1-2, it is explained that the doctrine must move on to full development or go straight to perfection. That is, stop at the elementary principles, namely the doctrines about Christ. The doctrines of Christ referred to are: The doctrine of various baptisms. The doctrine of the laying on of hands. The doctrine of the resurrection of the dead. The doctrine of eternal punishment. But these teachings can be taught if God permits (Hebrews 6:3), meaning that these teachings are taught if they have not received the basic teachings. But if they have been taught, they must be brought to an increase in teaching, namely moving on to full development or directly to perfection. If connected with the Tabernacle as a scheme for building the body of Christ, that is, if our faith is in the Courtyard position, it must progress to the Holy Place and to the Most Holy Place. And if it is connected with the 7 Levels of Faith, that is, if faith is already in the first level position (Hearing the Word and believing in the Lord Jesus Christ) it moves or advances to the second and third levels (repenting and bearing the fruit of repentance) and continues to advance to water baptism. And if our faith has reached the fourth level of faith, namely giving oneself to be baptized, then it moves until being baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit. Thus, the building of the body of Christ continues to the 7th level to become the Bride of Christ. This is what is meant by moving to its full development. Because before Hebrews 6 it was written about the existence of the congregation in their spiritual position in Hebrews 5:11-14. There are 7 characteristics of the appearance of the spiritual child, namely: It is difficult to explain because it is slow to hear, II Timothy 4:3-4, Matthew 13:13. From the perspective of time to become a believer, it should be a teacher. But it does not grow. There are obstacles to growth Luke 8:4-15, Hebrews 4:2. Because there is no grow, then must be taught the basic principles, Hebrews 6:1-2. The nature of preferring milk to solid food means that the spiritual prefers to eat babies because they are not yet spiritually mature, I Corinthians 3:2. Not understanding the teaching of truth, namely about the teaching of the Holy Spirit (John 16:13) as the disciples of John the Baptist did not understand the Spirit. Acts 19:1-2. Including spiritual children. Ephesians 4:14. Do not have trained five senses. II Peter 2:5-9 Such is the nature of the faith of spiritual children who must be built into spiritual maturity, namely being built into the house of God or becoming the Bride of Christ. Spiritual children do not like hard teaching or sound teaching because they will turn their ears to the truth and prefer fables and they accumulate teachers according to their own will rather than the will of God (II Timothy 4:3-4). Spiritual children are always tossed by various winds of teaching (Ephesians 4:14). to be continued (to be continued…)
