Live To Perfection, To Be The Church Of The Bridegroom Hebrews 6:1-5

The journey of the Israelites from Egypt (Goshen) to the land of Canaan is an example of a journey of faith. That is, from Egypt the World passed through the wilderness of the World to Canaan (New World and New Jerusalem, Revelation 22) In I Corinthians 10:1-11 Paul conveys that the journey of the Israelites as an example is that most of God's people did not penetrate to Canaan because they were involved in sin. There are 4 that they do, namely:

1. tempting God
2. Fornication
3. Idolatry
4. Grumbling.

This is a warning to be careful in the end of this age, so that our faith does not fall like that of the Israelites.

The Tabernacle of Moses is a tangible image as the house of God and is a pattern of spiritual construction that is aligned with the apostle Peter's sermon which is formed in the Seven Levels of Faith. The Church builds her body as the house of God (I Corinthians 3:16, 6:19). Starting from the first level of hearing the Word to the seventh level of becoming the Chosen Church or Bride of Christ. Building faith based on the Seven Levels of Faith and the Tabernacle will be very clear where our faith building has been, so that we continue to build Faith until it is perfect.

God commanded Moses directly to build the Tabernacle, with all its equipment and size. The Tabernacle of Moses is a picture of the Tabernacle of Heaven, Hebrews 8:5-6. "You made all these things, according to the example that was shown to you on the mountain". If it is called an example, it means that there is already material to be an example. The Apostle John while on the island of Patmos in Revelation 4, saw the arrangement of the Tabernacle of Heaven or the True Tabernacle made by the hand of God (Hebrews 8:1-5) and Jesus Christ being the High Priest (Hebrews 7:25-28).

Tabernacle comes from two words, Ohel and Mishkan (Hebrew Bhs Ohel – tent or tent, and Mishkan means dwelling place. The tabernacle is the house where God dwells. Believers are God's dwelling place (I Corinthians 3:16, I Corinthians 6:19). God dwells both in a group of congregations and also dwells in the person of believers. The Lord Jesus heads His house, which is the believer (Hebrews 3:6). Therefore the Church must give herself to be built her spiritual life into her home. The spiritualized tabernacle of Moses is an example of spiritual development.

THE TABERNACLE IN A SPIRITUAL SENSE

The Ark of the Covenant ——— Points to the Perfection of the Church coated with pure gold inside and out, becoming the Bridegroom, that is, the Church that is holy and holy without blemish.
Curtain Door ——- Refers to the tearing of the flesh or the crucifixion of the flesh.
Covering the Tent —— Refers to the Lord's protection of His church.
Mezba Incense ——- Refers to Prayer and Worship.
Table of Bread —— . Points to communion with God through the Word and the Lord's Supper.
The Golden Lamp ——- Refers to the work of the Spirit, the gift of office and the fruits of the Holy Spirit.
The Jenang board —— Refers to the fellowship of believers in a bond of love.
Tabernacle Door —— Refers to the baptism of the Spirit and the Fullness of the Holy Ghost.
The Washing Pool ——- Points to Water Baptism.
The Altar of Burnt Offering——- Refers to the sacrifice of Christ, believing, repenting and bearing the fruit of repentance.
The Gate ——- Pointing to accepting the Lord Jesus is the door or the way.

The journey of the Israelites from Goshen paralleled the Tabernacle and the 7 Levels of Faith are exemplary in the spiritual journey from this world to the New Jerusalem. With the building of the body of Christ according to the light of the Tabernacle which is aligned with the 7 Levels of Faith, Romans 15:4. For everything that was written in the past was written to be a lesson for us, that we might hold fast to hope by perseverance and the comfort of the Scriptures. What was written in the past, these are only a shadow of what is to come in the form of Christ, Colossians 2:17.

The Apostle Peter was an apostle entrusted by God to establish the church on the rock and key of the kingdom of heaven, Matthew 16:1819. Peter (petra) – small stones and rocks are the great and firm stones that are Jesus Christ. It is upon this rock that the body of Christ is built, that is, built with firm truth as a solid foundation (I Corinthians 3:11) through the teaching of the apostles and prophets, but the cornerstone is Christ (Ephesians 2:20-22). A cornerstone is a straight measure that is placed to be a measure and when aligned with another stone will appear straight or bent. Thus, the true truth is Christ, which is the word, and if there is another truth, it will be aligned with the truth of Christ as the cornerstone, then the straightness of the truth will be seen. And if it is not aligned with the cornerstone, it is not the truth of the Word but the truth of man.

After Peter was filled with the Holy Spirit, he preached in Jerusalem unlocking the kingdom of Heaven, building the body of Christ on the rock that is the true truth. Peter's sermon builds the body of Christ in three methods and is assembled into 7 Levels of Faith (Acts 2:14-40) namely:

1. Peter preached convincingly to the people about Jesus Christ and they believed. The first level of faith: hearing the word and believing in the Lord Jesus Christ.

2. When Peter preached, their hearts were moved to repentance and repentance, which is the second level of faith. Acts 2:37.

3. After Peter finished preaching they asked what they should do, Peter said repent and enter the third level of faith. Acts 2:38, a.

4. Peter said let each one give himself to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Acts 2:38,b. The fourth level of faith.

5. And Peter said you will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, which is the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the fullness of the Holy Ghost. The fifth level of faith.

6. Receiving the grace of the Holy Spirit, including the 9 Gifts of the Holy Spirit, the 9 Offices of the Holy Spirit, and the 9 fruits of the Holy Spirit is the sixth level of faith.

7. So to be awakened to be the chosen church, to be the bride of Christ is the seventh level of faith.

The spiritual tabernacle is the construction of the building of the body of Christ, that is, your body is the house of the Holy Spirit (I Corinthians 6:19) namely:

1. The gate is the door of Jesus Christ connected to the first level of faith, building faith by listening to the Faith and building a strong faith through the Word.

2. The altar of burnt offerings is associated with the second and third levels of faith, which is to build faith with true repentance and bring forth the fruit of repentance.

3. The washing pool is associated with the fourth level of faith, which is to build spiritually by being born again, i.e. baptized with water

5. Three tools in the sacred chamber, golden lamp, table of show bread, altar of incense. is associated with the sixth level of faith, which is the gift of the Holy Spirit, the Office and the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

6. The curtain door, that is, the door of the Father, points to the crucifixion of the flesh as the entrance to the most holy chamber of Christ, who is perfected in spirit, soul and body.

7. The curtain door and the Ark of the covenant are connected to the tabernacle, being in the position of the seventh level of faith, which is perfection and being the bride of Christ.

The Apostle Paul succeeded in building up the body of Christ until he was betrothed to Christ, II Corinthians 11:2. For I am jealous of you with Divine jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one man to bring you to the holy virgin to Christ.

Thus it is the responsibility of His servants to bring the church to be the bride of Christ.

HEBREWS 6:1-2.

Let us, therefore, abandon the first principles of the doctrine of Christ and turn to its full development. Let us no longer lay the foundation of repentance from vain works and the foundation of faith in God, which is the doctrine of baptism, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal punishment.

In Hebrews 6:1-2, it is explained that the doctrine must move on to full development or direct to perfection. That is, to stop from the first principles, which are the teachings of Christ. The teachings of Christ are as follows:

1. Doctrine of various baptisms.
2. Teachings on the laying on of hands.
3. The doctrine of the resurrection of the dead.
4. The doctrine of eternal punishment.

But these teachings can be taught if God permits (Hebrews 6:3), meaning they are taught if they have not yet received the basic teachings. But if it has been taught, it must be brought to the improvement of the teaching, that is, to full development or direct to perfection. If it is associated with the Tabernacle as a scheme for the building of the body of Christ, that is, if our faith is in the position of the Page, we must advance to the Holy of Holies and to the Holy of Holies. And if it is related to the 7 Levels of Faith, that is, if faith is already in the position of the first level (Hearing the Word and believing in the Lord Jesus Christ), moving or advancing to the second and third levels (repentance and bearing the fruit of repentance), and continuing to progress in water baptism. And if our faith has reached the 4th level of faith that is, to give oneself to be baptized, then to move on to being baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit. Thus, the development of the body of Christ reaches the 7th level to become the Bride of Christ. For before Hebrews 6 it was written about the existence of the church in their spiritual position in Hebrews 5:11-14. There are 7 patterns of spiritual childishness, namely:

1. It is difficult to explain because it is slow to hear, II Timothy 4:3-4, Matthew 13:13.

2. From the point of view of time to be a believer, one should be a teacher. But it does not grow. There are growth impediments Luke 8:4-15, Hebrews 4:2.

3. Since it does not grow, it must be taught the basic principles, Hebrews 6:1-2.

4. The nature of preferring milk to hard food means a spiritual who prefers to eat babies because they are spiritually immature, I Corinthians 3:2.

5. Not understanding the doctrine of truth that is about the doctrine of the Holy Spirit (John 16:13) as the disciples of John the Baptist did not understand the Spirit. Acts 19:1-2.

6. Including spiritual children. Ephesians 4:14.

7. They do not have a trained five senses. II Peter 2:5-9

This is the pattern of faith of spiritual children that must be built into spiritual maturity, namely being built into the house of God or becoming the Bride of Christ. Spiritual children do not like harsh teaching or sound doctrine because they will turn their ears to the truth and prefer fables and they gather teachers for their own will and not for the will of God (II Timothy 4:3-4). Spiritual children are always tossed about by the winds of teaching (Ephesians 4:14).
